What is Acute Gastritis?

Inflammation in the stomach lining is called acute gastritis when symptoms such as severe stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, bloating, heartburn occur.

What is Chronic Gastritis?

Gastritis characterized by early satiety, nausea, weight loss, bad taste in the mouth, and increased salivation is also called chronic gastritis.

The difference between chronic gastritis and acute gastritis is the absence of stomach pain.

It is divided into three as

bacterial

type C gastritis.

In autoimmune gastritis, the immune system attacks the gastric mucosal cells.

Helicobacter Pylori is responsible for bacterial gastritis.
